The vibrating fluidized bed dryer is not only beneficial for heat and mass transfer, but also ensures that the drying equipment operates under relatively stable fluid dynamics conditions, so that even when it is difficult to fluidized or when it is prone to producing a large number of lumps or highly dispersed materials, it can be dried smoothly, overcoming the phenomena of backmixing, channeling, and wall sticking that are prone to occur in ordinary fluidized beds, and truly achieving the flow called piston flow by ideal fluid dynamics. The multi-layer vibrating fluidized bed dryer is a universal drying equipment. The materials that can be dried by the single-layer vibrating fluidized bed dryer can also be dried by the multi-layer vibrating fluidized bed, especially for materials with particularly high moisture content, which can be dried to the required moisture content in one go. Therefore, it can be foreseen that the multi-layer vibrating fluidized bed has a wide range of application prospects. The vibrating fluidized bed dryer can save energy. Due to the material and hot air moving in opposite directions and fully in reverse contact, it saves 30% of thermal energy and 10% of electrical energy compared to similar dryers. Its drying quality is high and the effect is good. The material jumps along the horizontal annular orifice plate, so there is no local overheating or uneven drying phenomenon. Low material crushing rate, minimal wear, and finished product moisture content below 0.1%. The vibrating fluidized bed dryer is cost-effective in terms of investment. Due to the use of multi-layer stacking, the material moves vertically in a circular shape, resulting in a compact structure and occupying only one-fifth of the floor area of similar dryers. And it is sturdy, durable, reliable in sealing, easy to maintain, lightweight, and versatile in use. The material movement state and flow rate can be infinitely adjusted, so for powder and granular materials with a moisture content of not less than 40% and a temperature not exceeding 400 ℃, the noise is low and the vibration isolation performance is good. It can float and work on the floor slab, making installation and relocation very convenient, with a good working environment and high production efficiency. The material is in full contact with hot air multiple times during movement, resulting in high thermal efficiency, and therefore the hourly output is 2.2 to 3 times that of similar dryers.


The multi-layer vibrating fluidized bed dryer has been preliminarily applied in the drying of activated carbon and has shown significant advantages compared to existing drying equipment: energy-saving. Taking activated carbon as an example, it can save 50% of energy compared to external heating rotary cylinder drying. High drying intensity, small footprint, and low equipment investment. The footprint of a vibrating fluidized bed dryer is only about 2/3 of a single-layer bed and 1/2 of a rotating cylinder. To reduce product loss, activated carbon is usually dried using a flat furnace, open drying, and manual stir frying. According to investigation and statistics, only 5% -7% of activated carbon is lost due to flying. Made of stainless steel, with negative pressure operation and indirect heating, it is not affected by environmental pollution. The product, especially the granular carbon, is not worn and can maintain intact particles. The dust on the surface of the carbon particles is blown away during drying, improving the cleanliness of the product. The fine sand particles contained in the product fall into the lower box through the distribution holes, thereby reducing the ash powder of the product. It can reduce the ash content of the product from 4% to below 2.5%. Improved the environment and reduced labor intensity. This equipment only requires two people to operate (including the hot air stove), and there is almost no visible coal powder flying in the workshop. It has a secondary dust removal system with a dust removal efficiency of over 99%.
